USB Ports Do Not Detect 32 GB 3GS IPhone, I am very disappointed that none of the 3 USB ports recognize (or identify) my iPhone 3GS if the ports are working fine with my USB disk and DVD burner. Maybe the USB ports are not enough amps.
For reasons unknown, after loading MS Office 2007, this is not the answer anyway.
Beware the "power" being used. If you are in a power saving mode or something similar, with the USB drive plugged in, after being idle for some time, by default, close the USB power to save battery power. After awakening, then feeds on the USB drive. I noticed after listening to the sounds of clicking on the disk.
